The way Yanks think
I listen a lot these days, and I also had friends that were in mental health buisness. And a good point that was made to me, that I now see plainly.
I hesitate to use the name we use for a mindset that is spreading, but the name Yankee will work in this conversation.
If we as human beings get lazy, too involved with the way things are now, we start to come to a point where we would rather hear a lie than truth.
I've seen time and time again, with politics, television, and yes, the truth about the Civil War.
To omit key parts of any story change things. Somehow a larger truth about the Civil War has been twisted. People like the lie.
So when I say "We lost the war" they get real confused, and when the Holiday comes around they hang up the Yankee Flag.
And I get confused.

Well, I see what you mean. People today are quite a bit numb in the mind sometimes when it comes to things like this. They just go by the majority or believe every word they hear. Many of them also treat history like Chex-Mix: They pick out the stuff they like and leave the rest behind.

I was at a job site today, I went into the managers office and he was watching a video on Face Book.
I have nothing to do with Face Book but the video was cool.
An old man in the South, holding his flag, taling about Blacks and Whites and how wonderful they get along in the South now and then.
He also was cursing the KKK for using our flag,,,He was black. and I agree with him 100%

Re: The way Yanks think
I was digging through a bunch of old junk and stumbled accross a document. The document said something like this,
"Prejudice: The hatred of a person, place, thing or idea that one does not understand."
I gonna stop here for now.

Re: The way Yanks think
It's not untrue, but prejudice is someting that needs to dissolve for everything.
