Confederate Symbols and Emblems Empty Confederate Symbols and Emblems

Post by thomascgty Wed Feb 04, 2015 12:27 am

Is the bald eagle part of the symbols or emblems used by the old Dixie? Have seen it paired with the Confederate Battle Flag of Northern Virginia on some merchandise.

And is The Museum of the Confederacy managed and maintained by those who hopes for the day the CSA will rise? Just curious since it would be odd if it were managed by a group or individual that despises the CSA.

And anyone knows who can I consult if I am allowed to use any of the Confederate Emblems and Seals? Wikipedia isn't reliable on the information regarding the emblems and symbols. Thanks.

As for the eagle - The CSA maintained a lot of people and symbols from the old American government. Their seal features George Washington himself.

You can use the seals whenever you'd like, I believe they're in a public domain sort of scenario.

The Museum of the Confederacy is run by carpetbaggers last time I checked. They're trying to hide the cause of the South a bit....
