This is Thomas. I am quiet new here in the United States and supports the the U.S. Constitution's 2nd Amendment. Correct me if I'm wrong but based on what I have gathered so far regarding the United States' history, I like how the Confederate States advocate limited government. I am wondering though if the Confederacy won, would America be a much better place compared to how it is govern by the current administration? So I am currently at California but planning to move to other States like Texas or Georgia if I can find work there. So if anyone can guide to any good place or part of each State to work on my younger days, have my own family, and retire later would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! Glad to have you on board.

When it comes to the South, we're the fastest growing part of the country. So there are many suburbs and areas that are more rural that all can have exactly what you're looking for. Atlanta, Richmond, Nashville, And Chattanooga are some places that come to my head first.

Is Richmond the same as Richmond Hill, GA? I read that crime rate at Atlanta, GA is bad but that is expected for big cities. Richmond Hill seems to be a nice place to live at; a small town and near the coastal area.

Is Chattanooga same as Chattanooga Valley, GA? Sorry I am not familiar with the city names.

I was actually referring to Richmond VA and Chattanooga TN....I haven't heard of those places, but areas by the GA coast are great. The weather is generally pretty warm, as you can imagine, but it is not too terrible in the Winter. If you do decide to go to Atlanta, move in the suburbs. Where the country meets the city....I've got family there and they love the community. Georgia has some great places to live, along with South Carolina and Tennessee. Just stay out of the major cities and you will find good people there.

Central Florida is nice too. They've got some nice rural communities. Many pro-Confederates, too.
