Is the KGC part of the Confederacy? Empty Is the KGC part of the Confederacy?

So recently, I stumbled upon a group called The Knights of the Golden Circle. According to the information available on that group, I don't know if true or not, it came from the Confederates. The information available is pretty much from the North.
