At the State where you live, is the sobriety checkpoint banned or not? As far as I know only Texas on the Southern States have banned the sobriety checkpoints.

Do you agree for it to be implemented or banned in your State?

My conclusion is that sobriety checkpoints alone is not effective in lowering the fatalities caused by drunk driving. The culture and upbringing of that particular community that needs to be taken into account; also, personal responsibility plays a big role.

What we aim is small central government not anarchy, am I correct?

Well I do support the states making their own decisions, so I greatly support Texas' decision, but I also believe that if a state found it necessary to mandate these, she should be able to do so as well. I don't think it's been banned in Georgia. So yes, definitely, smaller government is the goal. Hence the Confederacy type of government. These are exactly the kind of decisions the states should make for themselves.

Utah only has them on Holidays, and local law enf. sometimes camps down the road from a bar.

I being a recovered alcky haven't paid real close attention.    Never seen one in Nevada.
